Rams for Christ exists to lovingly accept our community, genuinely embrace each other, and intentionally grow in relationship with God and others.
RFC meets on the first Sunday of each month at the Christian Campus Center for a night of worship, fellowship, and free food!
Serve alongside RFC students on mission at Arms of Hope Boles Campus in Quinlan, Texas. Students get the opportunity to serve the children, mothers, and staff by running events and taking care of the Boles Campus property.
Connect with other kingdom-minded students at RFC’s fall and spring retreats, where you’ll find community, be challenged to know and love God more deeply, and leave feeling encouraged to go and serve.
God is doing great things in San Angelo right here on Johnson Street! Johnson Street Church of Christ upgraded the Christian Campus Center, formerly the Bible Study Center, at Angelo State University, which opened its doors in January 2020 with the mission of equipping our campus ministry to better reach college students in their most formative years.
The original Bible Study Center was designed to function as a Bible chair building, furnished with a classroom, library, and other basics. For over five decades, students have utilized the ideally situated Center as a ministry tool for fellowship, worship, study, and outreach in the middle of campus. The Christian Campus Center’s update has expanded and reconfigured the facility in order to effectively carry out God’s mission at ASU for decades to come.
Almost 20 million students are enrolled nationally in our colleges and universities (a fourth of whom are new freshmen each year), and over 100,000 foreign students come to the U.S.A. We realize not only the crucial formation and life direction that occur during the college years, but also that these people are sent out to become the next generations impacting God’s kingdom across state lines, cultures, and even in foreign countries. The Christian Campus Center exists to meet the needs of these students and prepare them to be on mission in adulthood as they leave campus and begin the next stage of their lives.
Johnson Street Church of Christ is humbled and overjoyed at what God has done so far through the Christian Campus Center and is committed to continuing to minister to the largest mission field – our college students. The past, present, and future of this ministry is strengthened by the partnership of those who believe in our mission and have experienced the life-changing effects of our campus ministry for themselves. Thank you for financially and prayerfully committing to this faith project to effectively and faithfully bear witness at ASU to the transforming love and good news of Jesus Christ.
As time goes on, it becomes increasingly difficult to stay connected with the many who have been a part of the BSC/CCC over the last 50+ years. We appreciate your help updating our record of your involvement and sharing your story of this ministry!
